Love Trumps All

Bride & Groom:  Maharsi and Allison

The sun was setting on the first day of Maharshi and Allison’s wedding celebrations, and the air was filled with laughter, chatter, and smiles. The couple had opted for a Mehendi ceremony, as a symbol of good luck and prosperity. Then came the cocktail party where they danced the night away with signature cocktails prepared by the bartenders and most delish food.

The next day was the Haldi ceremony, where a paste made of turmeric, sandalwood and other herbs are applied to the bride and groom’s skin to purify and cleanse them, while warding off evil spirits. The family and friends participated in the ritual and smeared the vibrant paste on each other’s faces joyfully.

Finally, the much-awaited day arrived – the wedding day. Allison looked mesmerising in a beautiful red saree, which was perfectly complemented by the Indian bridal jewellery that sparkled as bright as her smile. Maharshi looked dashing in his sherwani, and the traditional Indian turban added to his royal look. The traditional wedding ceremony took place by the seaside, and the fusion of Indian and Western cultures created an unforgettable experience for everyone.

In conclusion, Maharshi and Allison’s cross-cultural wedding festivities were a beautiful blend of traditions, with each event being more joyful and unforgettable than the last. One thing was for certain – true love always transcends boundaries and cultures, and their wedding was a testament to that.
